Camp Recital

She has had such a great time in camp this week. I was very nervous about how she would handle it all, but it has been nonstop fun for her. Evidently she even has a boyfriend (the boy next to her), the teacher showed me photographic evidence of her mauling him with kisses. He is the Creative Director's son, so the staff is getting a kick out of their toddler-sized love affair. Since she's having such fun, I signed her up for three more sessions! Our little KayTar, growing up so fast.

(those are her crafts on the window!)

I know you say it all the time but I simply can't get over how young you look. You are young of course, but you look like her big sister. You are just so adorably gorgeous. I am envious.

Oh yeah, and Kaytar the cat isn't too bad either.

I love it when they surprise us. All our doubts and fears get tossed out the window and we get to sit back and think 'hey, thats cool, my kid isn't who i predicted'.

Is that monkey wearing whiskers? And her crafts are great!

If that's not the cutest thing I've ever seen! M is sitting on my lap helping me "type." She said, "My fwiend is dancing and waving!"

M wants to know what song they were performing. She said she'd like to dance like an elephant and a monkey.

I'm so glad she enjoyed camp so much! What a great place for her--and to find love there, too!

I'm so glad she had a good camp experience! Who'd have guessed? Just finished catching up on your adventures - the NYC trip sounded amazing. I'm sorry I didn't see the pro shot before you removed it from the blog, I'm sure it was beautiful. Can't wait to see the final picture - I assume you'll let us know when it's published?!

That video is brilliant! Apart from being so cuuuuute that I want to eat her, you can see that she's involved, has learned the song, knows what she's doing, and wow! Look at that jumping! She's landing strongly and taking off again!

I am not surprised you signed up for more of the same, it looks like she's having a blast!

Keep the pictures coming of the next weeks too please...

What? How did she get big enough to do all this? She's so damn cute it should be illegal.

What wonderful creativity the girl has! I'm so excited that she's having such a good time...it must feel good to her to be able to feel so good about something just for her...
