Happy birthday, Button.

A year ago, I thought that I would miss the sight of this unblemished belly, but I haven't.

I look at you, Button, and think of the wonderful things you have done for my KayTar.

Growth,

Development,

Nutrition,

Hydration,

Decrease in episodes,

Decrease in illnesses,

Fewer hospitalizations,

Fewer absences,

Freedom to discover food on her own terms,

And so much more.

Happy birthday, Button, we love you so.

I'm so glad that it's improved all of your lives so much... and taken so much stress off of your shoulders! Hoorah for the button!

I am SOOO GLAD to read this post: remember the angst and the ambivalence and the not-sure-ness? It has been an unambiguous good, this hard decision you made.

Happy birthday, little wonder of science.

Hurray for the button!

And it's cool you have those photos--Curious Girl had a button for years, and I forgot to take a pre-surgery belly photo.

But mostly, hurray for the button!
