This time last year, KayTar was approximately 29 pounds and 37 inches tall. She was wearing a size 3T and could still fit into many of her 2T clothes.
This time last year, we were in quarantine, preparing for a feeding tube placement.
Today, KayTar is approximately 35.4 pounds and 41.5 inches tall. She wears a size 5. In one year, she has gained almost 6.5 pounds and grown 4.5 inches. She went up two clothing sizes.
What do you think made the difference?

Sometimes the things that we fear, are also the best thing... Hurray for doing what works and watching Kay-Tar thrive!
she looks so much older now. It kind of breaks my heart a little. She is gorgeous and I'm so glad the tube works great for y'all.
such a good thing it turned out to be.
hooray for medical advancements!!
It's wonderful!! She does look so grown up!!
On a much smaller scale, I was so nervous about the surgery to place Charlie's ear tubes, but they made an immediate difference in his hearing and speech.
That's remarkable, Kyla. I'm so glad it's worked out so well.
Wow! I cannot believe the change in one year. She was just waiting to have some gas in the tank before she hit the accelerator, I guess. Amazing. And her little belly is as cute as ever -- I know how you agonized over this, Kyla. Good job.
Love those obvious signs that you absolutely made the right decision. She is doing so so well in every area, Kyla. What a beautiful little girl she is GROWING up to be. :)
(I wonder if there is some sort of reverse G-tube for me? I'd love to lose all she's gained.)
Well done, KayTar!
She is just thriving and I absolutely love it.
That G-tube has gotta be one of the best decisions you and Josh have made....after deciding to have such 2 amazing kids, that is. :)
That is so amazing! Hard to believe that was a year ago - she has grown so much!
