Here we go...

The surgery is scheduled for October 14th.

(I feel a wee bit dizzy.)

Yes, that is next week.

(when I told BubTar, he said, "So, I get a little bit of free time here without KayTar?!" Brotherly love, how it melts my heart! )

NEXT WEEK!

(why do I suddenly want to take millions of photos of her little unblemished belly?)

Goodbye, tonsils and adenoids. Hello, g-button.

(and also? EEEEEEEEEEEK!)

That is all.

(no really, that is all.)

Change of plan, surgery will actually be on November 4th.

Yikes! That is so soon!!

I'll be thinking of you all...

Geeez. That is SOON. But the good news is the sooner the surgery, the sooner the surgery will be behind her and done, right? Right.
Praying for you guys.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I am on the opposite side of the fence. I am in health care, I am a pediatric physical therapist. So I am the one teaching parents that their child can roll, lay on their belly etc with the tube! I hope that you have terrific people teaching you all about the tube, and that she comes through with shining colors.

I think this is going to be a wonderful thing.

Please keep us updated when you can!

Holy smokes, Kyla. Probably sooner than .... waiting and worrying, right? We'll be thinking of you, over here.

Eeeeeeek! I will definitely be keeping you and sweet KayTar in my thoughts and prayers.

That is soon, but it's good. It's like ripping a band-aid off ... get it over with instead of having lots of time to worry and think.

I'll be thinking of your sweet girl and praying for a successful, easy surgery day ... and peace of mind for you and your husband.

I'm with Beck. The sooner she has it, the sooner you can move right on past it.

She'll be fine. You'll be fine. And we're all thinking about you.

Wow. I hope things go without a glitch. Your brave little girl is inspiring and so are you!

Darn. My twisted brain was thinking up some fine Halloween Costumes for her....

She is going to be great. You all are. How long is she in the hospital for?

11/4 is going to be one big day!

I know it would be impossible not to be freaking out right now, so go ahead and freak out for a bit. We're all here to support you any way we can!

Oh, how irritating to get yourself all on the edge over surgery next week, and then have it moved to November! But I guess it does give you a bit more breathing room and time to gt organized. Hopefully it would be a bit btter timing for school, too?

Oh man, that is still right around the corner! I just can't wait for this to be over for you guys!

Whenever it is, I'll be thinking of you (and her). Love BubTar's reaction.
