Post Game Wrap Up

Ugh. Where to begin. This one was difficult.

She was in pain for much longer.
She was vomiting. Phenergan put a stop to it, but not until her tummy was emptied.
The head tilt was much more aggressive.
She was extremely sensitive to the light.
We lost her a few times. She was awake, but no longer conscious.
One of these times, her eyes were rolling in her head, her legs were drawn up, and she was grunting.
It was frightening.
She was in the tub when it happened, being cleaned up after evacuating her tummy. It took Josh holding her steady in the tub so I could clean her and we could get her out of there.
She was extremely dizzy for a very long period of time.
Her legs seemed to stop working several times.
It started at 12:30. She went to bed at 8:40 with her head still locked down.

These episodes have become such a part of life that while we never like them, we have almost gotten used to them. This one was tough.

It always brings tears to my eyes when I read about her episodes. Were you able to get in for the EEG?

Poor baby girl. What a nightmarish time. I hope that today is much better and that she's back to her happy self.

I find myself wishing there was something I could SAY. There isn't, I know, but I do hope that today is better---and less frightening, and less painful---for all of you.

Many, many blessings---

Jen.

Are the symptoms gone after a good night's sleep? Is KayTar puny the next day? How are YOU the next day? Thank goodness Josh was there to help you. Did he have a headache this time? How is BubTar?

I'm so sorry Kyla. That sounds very worrying.

Hug and prayers.

It sounds so painful to watch and experience. Do you think it is worse because she is off the meds?

For lack of anything to say that would be helpful... please know my thoughts are with all of you. I'm so sorry you are going through this.
