Me: BubTar, just let her pretend.
BubTar: But they aren't magic! Someone just made them do that so kids will THINK they are magic, but I'm too smart for that.
Me: BubTar, don't be so cynical.
BubTar: What? Is cynical another word for SMART?

My 9 YO has a hard time letting JJ just pretend sometimes too. It is hard to let the little one still have the Magic, when the older siblings are just so "smart." :)
So I've only got 2 more years before the magic comes to an end? Sigh...
