Very cute story and matching photo. J is getting a SLP next week, she's American, and I am VERY excited. Maybe we'll even get some vacuuming done around here.
Anika never had an austism eval but during the speech section, at three, she was crusing along awesome. Then we came to a picture of a kid crying and holding her knee while sitting on the ground with a bike next to her. She had to guess what happened. She said it rained on her face. She didn't get anymore right after that because they were all the same type of question.
Most shocking to me, at 4, Anika gets it. She tells sad, happy, mad. She can figure a kid with a package in from of him smiling is happy because he as a present. It's amazing how far she has come. I know all kids are different but I thought I'd share.
I was a little surprised Katie didn't get sadness because earlier she would cry when others cried. Like to the ST video. Will she still cry if she sees it? Does she just not connect on the emotional level yet? Curious.

That is too funny, Kyla.
I love that!
And her bandana is pretty rockin'! What a cutie!
Ha! Same story around here. Vacuuming. That's man work ;-)
OMG!!! Kyla, what size does she wear? I think she needs something skull & cross bones, holding little vacuums...
Ha! My boys would've said the same thing :)
Will be interesting to hear what they've found out.
Love the autobiography post! BubTar looks so much like his daddy.
