November.
It has been 90 days today since the doctor's appointment that changed my life.
90 days filled with:
10 trips to the Children's Hospital
10 therapy sessions
8 needle pokes
6 doctors
5 seizure-like episodes
4 developmental evaluations
2 ER trips
2 panels of blood work
2 sets of immunizations
1 EEG
1 CT scan
1 MRI
1 neurologist appointment
1 feeding disorders appointment
1 ophthalmologist appointment
0 answers
The next 90 days are equally promising:
37 therapy sessions
5+ trips to the Children's Hospital
2 neurology appointments
2+ needle pokes
1 psychological developmental evaluation
1 genetics appointment
1 hospitalization
1 extended EEG
1 MRA
1+ panels of blood work
1 clotting test
1 pediatrician appointment
1 set of immunizations
This is what the calendar already holds on the very first day of this 90 day period, stay tuned to see exactly how much we can fit into 90 days. I hope that by the end of it all, we can add this proudly to the list:

*sniff* I think you are great Kyla. I'll read whatever you write, what ever day you are able to write it.
Goodness - they're going to put you through a lot aren't they? Here's to getting an answer...
I never got a chance to watch the video because my work computer won't load it. I'll try and get on at home tonight and take a peek. You have a lot scheduled. Make sure you have lists of questions for each appt. I always blank when I get into an office. Also, you mention immunizations. Talk with your ped about whether or not she should get them all. I know some are contraindicated with seizures. Generally you want to stay away from Pertussis. Check out the CDC website for contraindications.
(http://www.cdc.gov/nip/recs/contraindications.htm) Look under neurological disorders. If I can think of anything else, I'll let you know.

That is a lot. You've endured a lot, you have a ways to go. But you know you've already been through difficult times, so hopefully each "answer" will make things just a tad easier
I hope you find some answers and hope things get easier for you my dear. I know the medical appointments are endless, especially in the early years. I remember many months the first year where my calendar was full with 28/30 days being a medical appointment of some kind. It's not easy.
Be sure to exercise or do something to take care of yourself regularly.
Also, be sure to do some fun things once in a while to "celebrate" your child whether it's dressing them up for Halloween, sending out picture postcards to your family and friends, etc. There is a life beyond the medical although it doesn't seem like it right now.
I will pray for your family. I am sorry you and your child have to go through this. It's never easy.
Bless you.
