Jumping Jungle Guy: Do you want cake?
KayTar: (doesn't respond because it is noisy and she's half-deaf)
JJG: Would you like some cake?
KayTar: (doesn't respond because it is noisy and she's half-deaf)
Josh and I: KayTar! He's asking if you want cake! Answer him!
JJG: Want some cake?
KayTar: Yes, please!
Josh and I: No no no no! You can't have cake! (to JJG) She can't have cake, sorry.
Pretty sure that Jumping Jungle Guy thought we were screwing with him on purpose.
Oh man! That's tough.
ReplyDeleteWe actually got a pretty good laugh out of it. The comedic timing was spot on. LOL.
ReplyDeletefunny. next, you should practice stranger danger.
ReplyDeleteHeh.....I hope the cake offering dude could think about it later and realize how funny it was. Totally cracked me up! :)
ReplyDeleteOkay - so if you think it was funny, I don't feel so bad for laughing. :) 'Cause I did.
ReplyDeleteHee hee :) I LOVE that picture - goes so well with the little story - silly girl!
ReplyDelete*totally laughing*
ReplyDeleteKayTar is a piece of work :)
D. learned long ago that he can't have cake/ice cream at most birthday parties. He's surprisingly accepting.
ReplyDeleteYou meanies! LOL
ReplyDeleteShe'll get there!
Last night at Cub Scouts they were talking about the Thanksgiving Feast and the head of the pack said, "If you can't eat something because of allergies, I need to know." She raised her hand and said, "I can't have anything with peanuts because I'm allergic." all on her own!
ReplyDeleteHa Ha Ha! That is funny :)
ReplyDeleteis she not allowed to have any type of cake? or just particular kinds?
ReplyDeleteIt's like a scene out of a sitcom. I laughed aloud.
ReplyDeleteJumping Jungle Guy probably needed screwing with. Great story!
ReplyDeleteGotta give her credit for trying at least. Can't say that I blame her. ;)
ReplyDeleteno, you were screwing with him WITH purpose. :)
ReplyDeleteohhh..... nice try, though.
ReplyDeletelast week in sunday school they offered a donut to a 4 year old who is diabetic. She very clearly said "I can't, I'm diabetic" Kids really can learn that stuff. MQ is pretty good about sayin no to stuff she's allergic to (although her allergy isn't severe, so I don't worry about it too much)
