Err that is just WRONG! Though as someone with hypermobile joints (though not as bad as your Miss Kaytar) I suggest definately getting her enrolled in something like yoga or pilates to strengthen the muscles around the joints, otherwise you will find as she gets older her body will tend to not necessarily do what she wants it too. Though IIRC she has lowish muscle tone as well? This might be contributing to the hypermobility.
yep, all my kids have that. no idea why. and my husband....though he doesn't, you know, eat his toes...all his fingers do bend completely backwards...and I mean completely. shudder.
