I'm going to see the last one tonight, and it'll be bittersweet knowing there aren't any more.Solitary Diner (Also Known as The Frugalish Physician)https://www.blogger.com/profile/01239189582752445700noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33281653.post-83200660653381045722011-07-20T20:10:51.312-05:002011-07-20T20:10:51.312-05:00Long time reader, but first time commenting -- cou...Long time reader, but first time commenting -- couldn't resist! Loved your sentiment at the end, that the magic of Harry Potter will continue on as your kids get into the books and read through the series.

I had a bit of a dispute with a classmate recently who claimed that HP is all "kid's stuff." I argued that the series (books and movies both) are important to me because I really did grow up with them. When I picked up the first book, right when it was getting wildly popular, I was the same age as Harry. Then the new books started coming out about one every year, and by the time the last one came out, I was only about two years older than Harry. So it's really sad that this is "the end" -- and, as you pointed out, it's definitely not kid's stuff!J Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18406383555384691837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33281653.post-62930551781786108252011-07-20T13:48:48.264-05:002011-07-20T13:48:48.264-05:00I'm glad you took him... and I love the title...I'm glad you took him... and I love the title of this post.Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05602868040771218507noreply@blogger.com
