Thanks Dawn. As you can tell, I'm a wee bit excited about it.
While I'm thanking people, thank YOU. You guys (even readers I don't really know yet) have been so supportive. People have been emailing me suggestions and contact information and searching for solutions with us. We don't have any really strong leads as far as insurance goes, but Dawn found a university nearby that might be able to provide speech therapy for KayTar and take care of her ABR's. Someone else suggested contacting Shriner's hospital for her orthotics and such. The situation isn't ideal, but we're doing a lot better than we would be without your support.
I was talking to Josh about some of the suggestions and he said, "Man, you've got people." and I guess I do, in that amazing bloggy sort of way. As a couple of very fine ladies reminded me recently, it takes a village and I'm so pleased to be part of this one.
To show my appreciation and also acquire some new material for my partially functioning brain, I'm also going to open up the floor for questions like so many before me have done. Ask away!
PS: If you awarded me something or tagged me last month, would you mind letting me know? I dropped the ball on a handful of those things and I can't figure out who they were from now!

You have a boy and a girl who will eventually (gasp) turn into pre-teens and then teenagers. At what age will you allow them to start dating on a one-on-one basis, as opposed to the 'group dating' that seems to start in middle school? And will you lay down a similar starting age, or differentiate based on gender?
