This is my big bag or diaper bag, whatever you'd like to call it. It is actually swag from AOL at BlogHer, a laptop bag, but it perfectly holds everything I need, so big bag it is.
This is what is in the big bag.
*My purse (or small bag, if you don't care for the word purse)
*Birthday card from my birthday last week
*Diapers
*Wipes
*Extra shorts for the KayTar
*Diaper rash cream that probably causes cancer (Go me!)
*KayTar's portable hearing aid case.
This is what is in the small bag.
From left to right:
*Checkbook without a checkbook holder (classy!)
*Pill bottle filled with various different meds (Tylenol, Motrin, Immodium, Benadryl; I'm the girl scout of over the counter medication)
*Wallet with KayTar's turquoise clip stuck to it
*iPod
*Inhaler (yes, I'm that cool)
*Gum
*TicTacs
*Lip gloss
*Various items from BlogHer: two cards, tattoo, Origins lip balm, sk*rt mints, leftover drink ticket (how did that happen?), lovely change purse from The Motherhood, a flyer for free massages at the W, and a few of the backside papers from the MBT pasties
I think it is time to clean my purse, no?

I was thinking that since last night I was not carrying that honking big blue bag I've been lugging (and not cleaning out) for the past two months, I should do this TODAY, when I have only the small contents of a small clutch to claim as mine... Man, I'll almost look chic and together and such.

Anyhow.
As a Canadian I find it odd that you Yanks still carry chequebooks wherever you go. I have one, but the only thing I ever use it for is paying daycare, because they don't have direct withdrawal.
Do you actually pay for things with cheques? I'm desperately curious ...

Bag in a bag... I completely understand this phenomenon... completely. I collect the Clinique bonus bags to stuff things into within my backpack and other totes...
And I dumped my backpack out and posted my stuff, too.
I am a BIG fan of the bag-in-a-bag. The SUB-bag.
